This innovative training focuses on giving evidence-informed strategies to prepare early childhood professionals for their vital role in building healthy brains.
Participants will learn:
- Brain development (architecture and neurobiology)
- Skills and strategies to support language, cognition, prosocial behavior, and social-emotional development
- Reducing toxic stress that can negatively influence brain development of very young children.
About the speakers:
Kathryn is President & CEO of The Florida Center for Early Childhood and an expert in early childhood development. She is a Certified Provisional Trainer in The Growing Brain curriculum through Zero To Three. Tamra Cajo is Director of the Fetal Alcohol Diagnostic Clinic at The Florida Center and a Certified trainer in ACT Raising Safe Kids.
